We're Hiring: PHP Developer

Location: Chennai | Smarther Technologies | Full-Time

At Smarther Technologies, we're building cutting-edge digital solutions across wellness, hyperlocal apps, and FMCG domains. We're looking for a passionate PHP Developer to join our growing team and help us deliver scalable, high-quality applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain web applications using PHP and frameworks (Laravel/CodeIgniter preferred).
  • Write clean, efficient, and reusable code.
  • Work with front-end developers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless functionality.
  • Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and security.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for timely project delivery.

Requirements:

  • 1–3 years of experience as a PHP Developer.
  • Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
  • Experience with Laravel/CodeIgniter or other PHP frameworks.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and version control (Git).
  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.

Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of cloud hosting (AWS/Azure).
  • Experience with or Angular for front-end integration.
