AI Accelerator Architect

Job Title: AI Accelerator Architect Chip/SoC Design

Location: [AI Hardware R&D / Semiconductor Startups / Edge Computing Labs]

Experience: 5 -12 years

Education: M.Tech/Ph.D. in VLSI, Computer Architecture, or AI Systems

Responsibilities:

  • Architect specialized compute engines for neural networks (CNN, Transformer, RNN)
  • Evaluate precision (INT8, BF16, FP32), memory hierarchy, and NoC for AI workloads
  • Model and benchmark custom accelerators for inference/training
  • Lead architectural co-design with compiler/software teams

Requirements:

  • Deep understanding of AI workloads and accelerator hardware
  • Experience with RTL, High-Level Synthesis (HLS), or architecture modeling
  • Familiarity with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and ONNX
  • Prior work on TPU/NPU/Edge AI silicon (plus)
