Specialist - Microsoft Technologies

Job Summary

Synechron is seeking a skilled and dedicated Microsoft Solutions Specialist to design, develop, and deploy robust Microsoft-based applications and solutions. This role is pivotal in delivering high-quality, reliable, and scalable systems that align with client requirements and organizational standards. The Specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, stay current with the latest Microsoft developments, and mentor junior developers. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to innovative projects and support business objectives through effective technology solutions.

Software Requirements

• Required:

  • Extensive experience with the .NET Framework and C# programming (minimum 3+ years).

  • Hands-on involvement with ASP.NET, WPF, WCF, and MVC frameworks.

  • Proficiency in SQL Server and relational database design.

  • Experience integrating back-end systems using REST APIs.

  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

• Preferred:

  • Knowledge of Azure cloud services and deployment options.

  • Experience with additional Microsoft tools such as Power BI, SharePoint, or Microsoft Dynamics.

  • Proficiency with Visual Studio and related development environments.

Overall Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement scalable Microsoft-based solutions tailored to client needs while adhering to organizational standards.

• Ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of solutions through thorough testing and optimization.

• Collaborate effectively with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders to diagnose and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.

• Stay informed about the latest Microsoft technologies and incorporate relevant innovations into projects.

• Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to improving code quality across the team.

• Mentor junior team members, sharing knowledge and best practices to foster their technical growth.

• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, specifications, and guidelines for project continuity.

Technical Skills and Expertise

The ideal candidate should have a solid foundation in C# programming within the .NET ecosystem, with considerable hands-on experience developing enterprise applications. Knowledge of ASP.NET MVC, WPF, and WCF frameworks is essential, along with familiarity with SQL Server database management and design. Experience in integrating systems through REST APIs is important, as well as understanding of software architecture and design patterns. Additional familiarity with Azure services, DevOps practices, and security configurations is a plus, supporting scalable and secure application development.

Experience Requirements

Candidates should have at least 3+ years of professional experience in developing solutions based on Microsoft technologies. Demonstrated success in delivering high-quality, scalable software solutions in dynamic environments is essential. Experience working within Agile teams, participating in Scrum ceremonies, and collaborating on cross-disciplinary projects will be considered advantageous. Alternative relevant experience, such as enterprise application development or systems integration, is acceptable.

Day-to-Day Activities

• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code aligned with project specifications and best practices.

• Participate in daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning sessions, and reviews to ensure project alignment.

• Develop and execute unit, integration, and system tests to validate functionality across different platforms.

• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and performance issues leveraging debugging tools and techniques.

• Continuously improve solutions based on stakeholder feedback and evolving project needs.

• Document technical design, implementation details, and operational procedures to facilitate future maintenance and scalability.

• Acquire knowledge of emerging Microsoft technologies and recommend their integration to improve project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Relevant certifications such as MCSD, MCSA Microsoft certifications are preferred.

• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with Microsoft ecosystem advancements.
