Location: Pune (Balewadi)

Shift: 1:30 PM – 10:30 PM IST

Employment Type: Full-Time

Experience Range: 5–12 years

About the Role

We are building a high-performing cloud engineering team for our new GCC in Pune, and we're looking for an experienced GCP Cloud Engineer / Lead to support our enterprise customer, CVS. This role requires a strong mix of hands-on cloud engineering, solution design, automation expertise, and customer-facing communication.

You'll work closely with engineering leadership and product teams to design scalable cloud solutions, drive adoption of best practices, and help shape long-term cloud strategy.

Key Responsibilities


• Design, build, and manage scalable infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).


• Architect and support microservices and containerized applications using Kubernetes.


• Develop automation using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.


• Improve and manage CI/CD pipelines for cloud-based workloads.


• Collaborate with Infrastructure Engineering leadership to turn business strategy into actionable cloud initiatives.


• Work closely with customers, Product Management, and Engineering teams to translate requirements and align technical direction.


• Identify technical risks, provide mitigation plans, and support decision-making for stakeholders.


• Advocate for customer needs and influence engineering roadmaps and adoption strategies.


• Mentor team members and contribute to Customer Success frameworks and best practices.

Must-Have Skills


• 8+ years of total experience, including 5+ years in GCP cloud engineering.


• Deep hands-on expertise with GCP services: Compute Engine, IAM, Cloud Storage, Networking, Cloud Functions.


• Strong experience with Kubernetes and microservices-based architectures.


• Solid understanding of infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, Ansible, or similar.


• Experience designing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines.


• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.


• GCP Professional Certification (Cloud Architect / Cloud Engineer / DevOps Engineer) is preferred or in progress.


• Ability to work in a fast-moving environment and manage shifting priorities.

Good-to-Have Skills


• Experience with Cloud Monitoring, Logging, and GCP security practices.


• Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD.


• Exposure to hybrid or multi-cloud environments.


• Scripting knowledge: Python, Go, or Shell.


• Understanding of networking, VPC design, and service mesh tools such as Istio/Anthos.


• Experience working with enterprise-scale customers and cross-functional teams.


• Ability to present ideas clearly to technical and executive stakeholders.
