We are seeking a highly competent and compassionate MD – Medicine professional to join our medical team. The ideal candidate is a dedicated doctor with a strong foundation in internal medicine, exceptional clinical judgment, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. This role involves providing comprehensive medical evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for a wide spectrum of adult health conditions. Candidates with 1 to 15 years of experience are encouraged to apply, as we value both fresh clinical perspectives and seasoned expertise.
Requirements
Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Care & Patient Management
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including detailed history-taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations.
- Diagnose and manage acute, chronic, and complex medical conditions using evidence-based clinical practices.
- Develop individualized treatment plans encompassing medication management, lifestyle modification, preventive care, and follow-up schedules.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies, stabilize critical patients, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for advanced care.
- Supervise and manage inpatient and outpatient cases, ensuring a seamless continuum of care.
Medical Expertise & Procedures
- Utilize advanced medical knowledge in internal medicine to interpret diagnostic test results such as radiology reports, ECGs, laboratory data, and other specialty investigations.
- Perform essential medical procedures within the scope of internal medicine.
- Provide specialist consultations to other departments and guide care plans for complex cases.
Collaboration & Coordination
- Work closely with nurses, specialists, and allied health professionals to ensure coordinated, patient-centric care delivery.
- Participate in clinical rounds, case conferences, interdisciplinary discussions, and referral management.
- Ensure smooth communication with patients and families, offering clear explanations, empathetic interactions, and guidance on treatment plans.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely electronic medical records in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, infection control measures, and patient safety standards.
- Contribute to departmental quality initiatives, audits, and continuous improvement activities.
Training, Learning & Development
- Mentor junior doctors, interns, and residents, supporting their clinical growth and professional development.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in internal medicine, emerging treatments, and evidence-based practices through continued medical education (CME).
- Engage in hospital-led medical training, research opportunities, and clinical improvement programs.
- Qualification: MD in General Medicine from a recognized medical institution.
- Experience: 1–15 years of clinical experience as a physician, consultant, or internal medicine specialist.
- Valid medical license/registration as per statutory norms.
- Strong diagnostic skills, clinical confidence, and the ability to manage complex medical scenarios.
- Excellent communication skills, empathy, professionalism, and patient-first attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment with strong teamwork and problem-solving abilities.
