Role & responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver structured lessons in Social Studies and Kannada for students of Classes 8th, 9th, and 10th (State/CBSE/ICSE syllabus as applicable).
- Conduct focused revision and exam-oriented teaching to help students perform well in school and board exams.
- Assess student understanding through class tests, assignments, and regular feedback.
- Provide individual attention to students, identifying weak areas and offering remedial support.
- Train students in answer writing, time management, and exam strategies to enhance board exam readiness.
- Prepare study materials, worksheets, and mock tests tailored for 8th10th standard students.
Preferred candidate profile
- Be punctual, reliable, and committed to student growth and AsquareB Academys values.
- Educational Background: Graduate or Postgraduate in Kannada, Social Sciences, Education, or related fields.
- Teaching Experience: Prior experience in teaching/tutoring 8th10th standard students (State/CBSE/ICSE boards) is highly preferred.
- Subject Expertise: Strong command over Kannada language (reading, writing, grammar, and literature) and Social Studies subjects (History, Civics, Geography, Political Science, Economics).
- Communication Skills: Proficiency in Kannada and English with the ability to explain concepts clearly and effectively.
- Teaching Style: Passion for teaching with the ability to make lessons engaging, interactive, and exam-focused.
- Student-Centric Approach: Patience and commitment to address the individual learning needs of students.
