Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable (AR) Caller with experience in Dental Billing for the US healthcare market. The AR Caller will be responsible for following up on outstanding dental insurance claims, resolving billing issues, and ensuring timely payments from insurance carriers. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of dental terminology, EOBs, denial codes, and US healthcare insurance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Call insurance companies to follow up on dental claims submitted.
  • Review claim denials, rejections, underpayments, and resolve them effectively.
  • Analyze and understand Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and insurance correspondence.
  • Take appropriate actions based on the response from payers, including appeals and resubmissions.
  • Update the billing system with accurate notes and claim status.
  • Work collaboratively with the billing team and dental offices to resolve discrepancies.
  • Meet daily, weekly, and monthly productivity and quality targets.
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations.

  • 13 years of experience as an AR Caller in dental billing for US healthcare

  • Understanding of CDT codes, dental procedures, and terminology.

  • Familiarity with US dental insurance plans (PPO, HMO, Medicaid, etc.).

  • Hands-on experience with dental billing software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental is a plus).

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills (especially over the phone).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
