Location: Goregaon, East

Type of Job: Hybrid

CTC: Rs LPA to 33.00 LPA (Commensurate with Experience and Caliber)

Job Description:

  • Reviewing tax returns for Partnerships, Corporations, Individuals and other areas including but not limited to Estate and Gift, Trusts and Non-profits, W-2s, 1099s. Preparing Complex tax returns in above areas.
  • Communicating with clients and Project CREs to obtain information for tax returns or other projects.
  • Gathering relevant tax-related information from the US team and/or client ensuring completeness and accuracy of the returns.
  • Review tax accruals and attend meetings with auditors regarding tax issues as needed.
  • Managing client relationships by monitoring client needs and building value into professional service.
  • Communicating with clients, the IRS and other business professionals as needed. Evaluating the costs, benefits, and risks of alternative solutions to client problems or needs.
  • Performing tax research and other special projects as they occur.
  • Capitalizing on personal and professional experiences to develop business and practice lines.
  • Supervising and delegating duties to the tax staff in the team.
  • Attending professional development and training seminars on a regular basis.
  • Providing mentorship and technical training for employees in the tax department.
  • Performing other accounting and tax related duties as assigned by supervisory personnel.
  • Professional certification of CPA, CA or EA and are a graduate within the disciplines of Accounting and Finance. Post-graduation in the said disciplines is an added benefit.
  • Knowledge of and exposure to various industries in US tax returns. Knowledge of CCH Access Tax and CCH Engagement software is a plus
