Role Objective – Sales and Application Engineer (Project Sales)

To drive the sales of Lucid Imaging's Machine Vision-based inspection systems by identifying new business opportunities, managing the complete sales cycle from lead generation to project closure, and building long-term customer relationships across target industries such as Security Print, Packaging, Automotive, Electronics, Metal, Railways, and others.

Key Responsibilities

· Identify and develop new business opportunities in target industries.

· Understand customer processes and propose suitable inspection system solutions.

· Manage complete sales cycle from enquiry to order closure.

· Conduct customer visits, presentations, demos, and technical discussions.

· Coordinate with engineering teams for solution feasibility.

· Prepare and submit technical and commercial proposals to customers.

· Negotiate pricing, terms, and finalize orders with decision makers.

· Maintain strong relationships with key accounts and repeat clients.

· Achieve assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

· Submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback to management.

Required Skills:

· B.E/B.Tech in Electronics, Instrumentation, or related fields.

· 3-7 years of experience in sales/application support (machine vision or automation preferred).

· Good understanding of cameras, optics, lighting, and vision software.

· Strong communication and presentation skills.

· Willingness to travel for customer visits.

· Experience in the Printing Domain will be an added advantage.

· Good communication skills in English & Hindi, empathetic, and target oriented.

· Good disposition and pleasing personality.
