Role Description

We are seeking an experienced
Technical Manager – AWS

to lead cloud infrastructure projects, manage Agile teams, and deliver secure, scalable, and cost-optimized AWS environments. The ideal candidate will have strong technical leadership, hands-on AWS expertise, and a proven track record of managing enterprise-scale cloud transformation initiatives. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, driving Agile processes, ensuring governance compliance, and achieving operational excellence through automation and continuous improvement.

Roles and Responsibilities

⦁ Led AWS infrastructure initiatives, Agile teams, and project delivery while mentoring team members.

⦁ Drove Agile ceremonies and collaborated on technical roadmaps and architecture.

Architect scalable, secure, and cost-optimized solutions on AWS (VPC, EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, EKS, API Gateway, IAM).

Define cloud roadmaps, reference architectures, and reusable frameworks.

⦁ Designed and managed secure AWS environments (VPC, IAM, EC2, S3, RDS).

⦁ Automated infrastructure and deployments using Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK, Jenkins, and GitLab CI.

⦁ Managed CI/CD pipelines, UAT, and production monitoring for high availability.

⦁ Ensured compliance with MFA, encryption, and vulnerability management standards.

⦁ Monitored and secured environments using CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and Guard Duty.

⦁ Optimized cloud costs through automated resource scheduling and cleanup.

⦁ Delivered large-scale AWS migrations and automation projects.

⦁ Improved reliability and reduced costs through CI/CD and optimization.

Hands-on experience with logging and monitoring (CloudWatch Logs, CloudTrail, ELK, Splunk)

Practical experience with incident response, RCA, threat mitigation

Preferred Skills

Experience with container security (Prisma, Aqua, Kube-bench)

Familiarity with Direct Connect, VPN, or hybrid enterprise identity setups
