
Accounts Assistant

An Assistant Accounts Executive in the automobile industry handles daily financial transactions, maintains ledgers, manages accounts payable/receivable, supports tax and compliance activities, and assists with financial report preparation and reconciliation. This role requires proficiency in accounting software, strong organizational skills, and familiarity with automotive industry financial practices, including vehicle inventory tracking.
Key Responsibilities
· Financial Transaction Processing: Record sales, service, and parts transactions; manage accounts payable and receivable.
· Record Keeping: Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and journals.
· Invoicing & Billing: Generate and send invoices for vehicle sales, service, and parts.
· Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
· Compliance: Support GST and TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) return filings and other statutory compliance activities.
· Reporting: Assist in preparing monthly reports like Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, stock reports, and outstanding reports.
· Auditing Support: Provide assistance during internal and external audits and stock checks.
· Inventory Tracking: Track titles and lien releases for vehicle inventory.
· Administrative Duties: Handle clerical tasks, filing, and support the accounting department as needed.
Qualifications
· Education:
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is often preferred.
· Experience:
Experience in an accounting role, preferably within the automobile industry, is beneficial.
· Technical Skills:
· Proficiency in accounting software.
