Job Overview

The Senior Resident Onco Radiation role is based at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital & Research Centre in Mumbai, Maharashtra. The position is full-time and located within the Mumbai, Mumbai Suburban, Navi Mumbai, and Thane regions. This role requires a minimum of 1 year of work experience and is classified at the junior position level. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering expert care in radiation oncology, utilizing cutting-edge technology for treatment.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proficiency in radiation oncology with a strong understanding of Image-Guided Radiotherapy and Brachytherapy (Mandatory skill).
  • Experience with radiation safety practices to ensure the protection of patients and staff at all times.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Expertise in operating linear accelerators and ensuring treatments are accurate and safe.
  • Capability to develop detailed treatment plans using advanced treatment planning systems.
  • Experience with electronic medical records to maintain accurate and detailed patient care records.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail to manage complex cases and optimize treatment outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills to clarify treatment procedures and provide support to patients and families.

  • Deliver high-quality radiation oncology treatments with precision and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with oncologists, medical physicists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
  • Develop and execute personalized treatment plans using advanced planning systems and imaging techniques.
  • Operate and manage linear accelerators and other radiotherapy equipment ensuring all protocols are observed.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment specifics and patient progress.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and hospital-specific radiation safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Participate in continuous professional development and training to keep abreast of technological advancements.
  • Provide compassionate care and support to patients and their families, addressing their concerns and needs.
