Job Opportunity: Tax Team Lead (Australia Taxation)

Company: Global FPO

Location: Remote or Noida

Shift Timing: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (Flexible)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the preparation and filing of Australian tax returns across multiple entities:

  • Trusts

  • Companies
  • Partnerships

  • Individuals

  • Review and approve tax returns prepared by team members to ensure accuracy and compliance.

  • Supervise and mentor the tax team to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline tax processes and reporting.
  • Utilize accounting and tax software for efficient documentation and filing.
  • Provide strategic guidance on complex tax matters and client engagements.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in Australian taxation at a Team Lead or higher level.
  • Proficiency in Bash scripting for automation.
  • Hands-on expertise with MYOB and Xero accounting platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of trust, company, partnership, and individual tax frameworks.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum B.Com or above in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
