Role & responsibilities

This role is responsible for program, QA and launch quantitative online surveys across global market-research projects using platforms such as Qualtrics and IOM. You will translate questionnaires into accurate, device-friendly survey builds, implement complex logic/quotas, troubleshoot integrations (panels, APIs), and support data exports and delivery to analysts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program online and mobile surveys from detailed questionnaires and specifications; manage multiple languages and translations
  • Implement complex skip logic, branching, piping, randomized blocks, quotas and soft/hard quota management
  • Build and test sample/frame integrations, redirects, and panel/API calls (including URL parameters, tokens, tracking)
  • Run thorough QA: device and browser testing, edge-case scenarios, data validation, and post-launch fixes
  • Produce clear change logs, documentation and handoffs for project managers and data processing teams
  • Support scripting/customization using JavaScript/HTML/CSS/XML within survey platforms for bespoke question types, timers, and client-requested behavior
  • Optimize survey performance and UX (load times, mobile layout, progress flows); advise on questionnaire feasibility and survey design best practices

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelor's degree Computer Science, Information Technology, or Software Engineering
  • Covers programming, scripting, logic, and database concepts that are useful for survey programming
  • 3-7 years' relevant experience in programming surveys in a market-research environment (agency or client side)
  • Strong hands-on experience with Qualtrics; familiarity with IOM or similar MR platforms
  • Strong scripting skills: JavaScript for in-survey custom logic; comfortable with HTML/CSS and working with XML/CSV exports.
  • Solid understanding of quotas, weighting, routing, randomization, and offline data handling
  • Proven QA discipline: test plans, bug tracking, regression testing, cross-browser/device testing
  • Good communication able to interpret questionnaire specs, liaise with PMs, translators and analysts, and document builds clearly
  • Attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines across multiple concurrent projects
