We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Software Engineer

In this role, you will:

•    Lead the deployment, setup, and configuration of AppDynamics agents (e.g., Java, .NET, , etc.) across various applications and infrastructure.

•    Manage and configure dashboards, alerts, and health rules in AppDynamics to monitor application performance.

•    Ensure that AppDynamics is correctly integrated with other tools and platforms as needed (e.g., cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines)

•    Establish application monitoring strategies and performance benchmarks using AppDynamics for key business applications.

•    Conduct deep-dive performance analysis using AppDynamics to identify performance bottlenecks, slow transactions, memory leaks, and other issues.

•    Collaborate with application teams to fine-tune application performance and suggest architectural improvements based on monitoring data.

•    Provide expertise during incidents related to application performance and availability, using AppDynamics data to identify root causes.

•    Support real-time and proactive monitoring efforts, providing feedback to prevent future incidents.

•    Work closely with cross-functional teams (DevOps, infrastructure, and development) to ensure effective monitoring of applications and systems.

•    Act as the go-to expert for AppDynamics, providing guidance, training, and support to internal teams on using the platform effectively.

•    Communicate findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders, helping to improve system performance and user experience.

•    Regularly review and enhance AppDynamics configurations to meet evolving business and technical requirements.

•    Generate detailed performance reports and insights for executive teams and stakeholders.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

•    Extensive experience with AppDynamics (installation, configuration, and management) in large-scale enterprise environments.

•    Solid knowledge of APM concepts, including transaction tracing, service monitoring, database performance, and end-user experience tracking.

•    Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Java, .NET, , Python) and the ability to work with code-level diagnostics.

•    Strong understanding of application architectures (monolithic, microservices, containerized) and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).

•    Experience with performance tuning for distributed systems and databases.

•    Expertise in identifying and resolving application performance issues such as memory leaks, thread contention, and slow database queries.

•    Knowledge of integrating AppDynamics with other monitoring and incident management tools (e.g., Splunk, PagerDuty, ServiceNow).

•    Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
