N. G. Acharya & D. K. Marathe College of Arts, Science & Commerce, established in 1978 by the Chembur Trombay Education Society, is located in the heart of Chembur, Mumbai, making it accessible via multiple modes of public transport. As the first-degree college in the area, the institution aims to provide quality higher education to students from Chembur and its neighboring regions. Affiliated with the University of Mumbai, the college offers diverse academic programs and boasts a team of experienced and qualified teachers. Additionally, the college provides HSC courses in Arts, Science, and Commerce through its Junior College, affiliated with the Maharashtra State Board of Higher Secondary Education.

Role Description

We are seeking a motivated and qualified individual to join our team in a full-time capacity at N. G. Acharya & D. K. Marathe College of Arts, Science & Commerce in Mumbai. This is an on-site role that involves teaching courses in your area of expertise, preparing lesson plans, conducting lectures, and engaging students to enhance their learning experience. The selected candidate will also be responsible for evaluating student performance, providing feedback, and participating in faculty meetings and college events. Additional responsibilities may include contributing to the development of curriculum and other activities to support the academic environment.

Qualifications

• Proven subject matter expertise with strong skills in research, effective teaching strategies, and curriculum development.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with classroom management and student engagement abilities.
• Proficiency in planning and organizing lessons, time management, and teamwork capabilities.
• A Master's degree in the relevant subject is required; additional certifications or qualifications in education are preferred.
• Previous teaching experience in higher education is an asset.
