4PM News Network is a growing digital and broadcast media platform delivering news, current affairs, and engaging visual content to audiences across multiple platforms. We are looking for a talented Video Editor cum Motion Designer to join our creative team and help shape the visual storytelling of our news and media productions.

Position Overview:

The Video Editor cum Motion Designer will be responsible for editing video content for news, interviews, documentaries, and promotional videos while incorporating motion graphics, animations, and visual effects to enhance storytelling. The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of design, timing, and attention to detail, with experience in working in a fast-paced newsroom or digital media environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Video Editing:

  • Edit raw footage into compelling, well-paced final videos for news, features, promos, and social media content.
  • Sync audio, adjust color, add transitions, and ensure smooth narrative flow.
  • Maintain consistency in visual style and branding across all outputs.

Motion Design & Animation:

  • Create and animate motion graphics, lower thirds, intros, outros, and infographics for news packages.
  • Design visual assets for special reports, explainers, and on-screen elements.
  • Work with the creative and editorial teams to visualize data-driven stories and enhance viewer engagement through animation.

Creative Collaboration:

  • Collaborate closely with producers, reporters, graphic designers, and social media teams.
  • Contribute ideas for improving the visual quality and engagement of news content.
  • Stay updated with current design and video trends in digital news media.

Technical & Workflow Management:

  • Organize and manage video assets, project files, and backups efficiently.
  • Ensure all outputs meet technical specifications for broadcast and digital platforms.
  • Meet tight deadlines and deliver under pressure without compromising quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Film Editing, Animation, Media Production, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of professional experience in video editing and motion design (news or digital media experience preferred).
  • Proficiency in software such as:
  • Adobe Premiere Pro
  • After Effects
  • Photoshop / Illustrator
  • (Knowledge of DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro is a plus)
  • Strong understanding of composition, typography, and visual storytelling.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Keen eye for detail, color, and pacing.
  • Understanding of social media video formats (YouTube, Instagram, X, Facebook, etc.) is a plus.

Work Schedule:

  • Full-time, On-site (Monday to Saturday)
  • Location: Dwarka, New Delhi
  • Flexible to work during breaking news hours or special events if required.
