Key Responsibilities

Be the primary technical point of contact for clients, coordinating regularly to understand requirements, provide updates, and address technical queries.

The ideal candidate will be a technical expert in GIS, 3D data processing, and advanced surveying techniques, possessing strong client-facing and quality assurance skills. Should work independently without any support.

Ability to navigate bureaucratic processes: The candidate must be capable of dealing with administrative challenges, including proactively securing necessary permissions, approvals, and clearances from relevant authorities (internal and external) to ensure project activities, such as carrying out surveys, can proceed lawfully and efficiently.

Logistical coordination: Strong skills in planning and coordinating logistical requirements for field work, surveys, or other activities, specifically in managing the process of obtaining required authorizations and permits.

Stakeholder liaison: Proven capability to act as a primary liaison with administrative bodies and key stakeholders to resolve issues, expedite approvals, and clear potential administrative roadblocks for project implementation.

Provide technical oversight and guidance for field surveying teams, ensuring correct data acquisition methodologies are followed, particularly for LiDAR scanning (Terrestrial/Mobile) and GPR data collection.

* Review and validate field data outputs, including Control Survey reports and raw data quality.

* Quality Assurance (QA/QC):

* Develop and implement rigorous Quality Assurance (QA) protocols for all processed GIS and 3D datasets, with a focus on spatial accuracy and georeferencing standards derived from surveying control.

* Conduct thorough Quality Control (QC) checks on GIS feature attribution, spatial accuracy, and topology.

* Travel and Site Work:

* Be prepared for frequent travel across India as required for client meetings, site visits, and technical coordination of survey teams.

* Soft Skills:

* Exceptional client-facing and coordination skills for regular, effective communication with domestic clients.

* Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities to address data anomalies and project challenges.

Desired Attributes

* Familiarity with standard LiDAR accuracy specifications (e.g., ASPRS standards).

* Prior experience in managing or leading field survey crews.
