Packing Plant Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operations & Supervision

• Oversee daily packing and dispatch operations for bagged and bulk cement.
• Monitor packing machine performance and ensure continuous operation with minimal downtime.
• Coordinate with the production and maintenance teams to ensure timely material availability.
• Implement and maintain FIFO (First-In, First-Out) practices for finished goods.

2. Quality Control

• Ensure correct weight, sealing, and labeling of cement bags.
• Conduct periodic checks to maintain packaging quality as per company standards.
• Report and resolve non-conformities related to packing and dispatch operations.

3. Maintenance Coordination

• Report equipment breakdowns and coordinate with the maintenance team for prompt repairs.
• Participate in preventive maintenance planning and implementation.

4. Safety & Compliance

• Enforce plant safety regulations and ensure use of PPE by all workers.
• Conduct safety toolbox talks and ensure a clean, hazard-free work area.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and quality management systems (ISO, etc.).

5. Manpower Management

• Supervise packing operators, loaders, and helpers.
• Plan shift schedules and manpower allocation.
• Conduct on-the-job training for packing and dispatch personnel.

6. Reporting & Documentation

• Maintain daily packing and dispatch records.
• Prepare shift-wise and daily production reports.
