Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Territory Manager at GSP Crop Science Ltd., based in West Bengal, India. The Territory Manager will oversee local sales operations, build and maintain relationships with distributors and customers, and drive sales growth in the assigned region. Responsibilities include conducting market research, providing technical support to farmers, analyzing sales data, and executing promotional activities to enhance product reach and satisfaction. The individual will coordinate with internal teams to ensure the fulfillment of business objectives and deliver exceptional service standards.

Qualifications

  • Strong background in Science and Research, with an understanding of agricultural practices and products.
  • Excellent Analytical Skills to interpret market trends, sales data, and regional performance metrics.
  • Effective Communication Skills, both written and verbal, to engage with distributors, customers, and team members.
  • Educational qualification in Agriculture, Agronomy, or a related scientific field is preferred.
  • Proficiency in local languages and familiarity with the region's agricultural landscape would be beneficial.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively to achieve targets and improve customer satisfaction.
