Inviting applications for the role of Sr. Principal Consultant – SAP Technical Architect - ABAP/Basis/Security/BTP

We are seeking a Senior SAP Technical Architect with deep expertise in ABAP development, Basis administration, SAP Security, and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). This role is a key technical leadership position responsible for defining, designing, and governing enterprise-grade SAP technical solutions across ECC, S/4HANA, and cloud environments.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving large-scale SAP transformations, leading cross-functional technical teams, and ensuring system performance, security, and scalability across the SAP landscape.
Responsibilities
S4 Hana certification mandatory. 
Architecture & Leadership

•    Own the end-to-end technical architecture of SAP systems including ECC, S/4HANA, BTP, and integration layers.

•    Define best practices for custom development, system administration, and security in line with enterprise standards.

•    Lead solution architecture for greenfield, brownfield, or selective data transition (SDT) migrations to S/4HANA.

•    Drive modernization of SAP landscape through BTP-based extensibility, Fiori, and cloud-native development.
ABAP Development

•    Oversee complex ABAP developments and enhancements\: custom reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEFW).

•    Guide teams on performance tuning, modularization, code optimization, and clean core principles.

•    Work with functional teams to design scalable technical solutions aligned with business needs.
Basis & System Administration

•    Lead SAP system landscape planning, installations, upgrades, migrations, and patching.

•    Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and performance tuning of SAP systems.

•    Monitor and optimize HANA database performance and memory management.

•    Manage transport landscapes and support release/change management.
SAP Security & GRC

•    Define and implement role-based access control (RBAC), user provisioning, and SoD compliance.

•    Collaborate with internal audit and compliance teams to maintain regulatory and security standards.

•    Support GRC access control, risk analysis, and firefighting processes.
SAP BTP & Cloud Integration

•    Architect BTP-based applications using services such as CAP, RAP, SAP Fiori/UI5, SAP Workflow, Event Mesh, Integration Suite, etc.

•    Manage API development, OData services, and extensions using BTP.

•    Ensure seamless integration with SAP and non-SAP systems via CPI, PI/PO, and third-party middleware.

•    Experience leading large SAP ECC and S/4HANA transformations

•    Deep knowledge of SAP architecture, HANA DB, transport management, and technical performance tuning

•    Proficiency in tools like SAP Solution Manager, SAP Cloud Connector, SAP Web IDE / BAS, and SAP Launchpad

•    Understanding of SAP cloud services (e.g., IAS/IPS, SCP, BTP Cockpit, CF/Neo environments)
Solid understanding of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing tools (e.g., ATC, ABAP Unit)________________________________________
Minimum Qualifications

•    Graduation\: B.Tech/B.E, MBA/MCA

Preferred Qualifications

•    The candidate must be a self-starter, capable of multitasking and efficiently manage their time in a multifaceted environment with demanding deadlines while requiring minimal levels of supervision.

•    Additionally, the candidate must possess excellent writing, speaking, analytical, project management, organizational, teamwork, and customer service skills that will assist them in identifying solutions to sophisticated security problems

•    Ability to deliver high quality and reliable software by collaborating with team. Outstanding analytical skills, ability to apply expertise to drive sophisticated, technical and highly commercial solutions. Possess good verbal and written communication skills.

•    SAP certifications in ABAP, Basis, or BTP (e.g., SAP Certified Development Associate - ABAP for S/4HANA)

•    Experience with SAP Fiori, UI5, OData, and RESTful Application Programming (RAP)

•    Knowledge of SAP GRC Access Control

•    Familiarity with public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and hybrid integration models Exposure to Agile/DevOps delivery frameworks (e.g., SAFe, Scrum)
