Job Description:We are seeking an experienced Oracle EPBCS Consultant to support our client in implementing and enhancing their Oracle Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (EPBCS) environment. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in EPBCS modules, financial planning processes, and cloud integration. This is a contract role requiring availability from (7:30 PM–1 PM IST), with a focus on project implementation and post-go-live support.

Candidates should be highly independent, technically strong, and experienced in working with global stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:Lead the implementation, configuration, and support of Oracle EPBCS modules including Financials, Workforce, Capex, Projects, and Strategic Modeling. Work closely with finance and planning teams to gather, document, and analyze business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.

Design and build data forms, smart lists, business rules, calculation scripts, task flows, and dashboards that support driver-based and assumption-driven planning. Leverage Groovy scripting and Calculation Manager to implement advanced logic and customized planning flows. Integrate EPBCS with upstream ERP and HCM systems using EPM Automate, Data Management (FDMEE), and flat-file processes.

Configure and automate data loads, metadata updates, and refresh processes to support scheduled planning cycles. Develop and execute test cases for system and user acceptance testing, ensuring data accuracy and rule logic across modules. Provide post-implementation support including troubleshooting, incident resolution, and system enhancements.

Deliver end-user training and maintain comprehensive documentation, including design specs, user manuals, and SOPs. Monitor application performance, identify optimization opportunities, and apply quarterly Oracle Cloud updates with minimal business disruption. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders to ensure alignment between planning models and organizational goals.

Contribute to predictive planning and AI forecasting initiatives using Oracle's built-in features and external integration options. Requirements:5 years of experience working with Oracle EPM applications, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience specifically in Oracle EPBCS.Oracle EPM Cloud certification and experience with Predictive Planning or AI/ML integration are a plus. Strong knowledge of financial planning and analysis (FP&A), including budgeting, forecasting, and modeling best practices.

Hands-on experience in EPBCS module configuration, including developing forms, rules, scripts, and reports. Proficiency in Groovy scripting, Calculation Manager, Smart View, and task automation using EPM Automate. Solid understanding of integration tools and techniques such as FDMEE, data mappings, and metadata imports.

Experience in full-cycle implementations: requirement gathering, design, build, testing, training, and support. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and troubleshoot complex issues. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in remote or distributed teams.

Availability from 8:00 PM to 12:00 PM IST to support global project timelines and coordinate with client teams.
