Profile Summary:

  • Lead the end-to-end development lifecycle for CarPlay software, including requirement analysis and functional realization within the Android Automotive domain.
  • Develop diverse modules and components within the Android Automotive System, demonstrating expertise in Android architecture, Application (HMI), and Framework, preferably Android-O or later.
  • Take ownership of multiple components, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
  • Perform defect triaging and resolution to maintain the quality of the CarPlay software.
  • Collaborate with testing teams and cross-functional domains to address feature dependencies and defects.
  • Mentor and guide less experienced team members, facilitating timely and successful task completion.

Mandatory Skills:

– Proven experience in Screen Projection technologies, specifically in the context of CarPlay.

– Mandatory Apple CarPlay Certification for at least one program.

– Knowledge of the iAP2 protocol.

– Strong familiarity with the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) ecosystem.

– Expertise in Android multimedia frameworks, encompassing media codec, video streaming, and audio frameworks.

– Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, or C.

– Experience in multithreaded programming, including tasks like offloading to different threads, synchronization, communication, state handling, mutex, and semaphores.

– Utilization of tools like Android Studio, ATS, Wireshark, and Ellisys.

– Familiarity with methodologies such as SaFE Agile and ASPICE.

– Proficient use of DevOps tools like GitLab, Gerrit, and Git.
