Medical Transcriptionist

Key Responsibilities:
1. Transcription & DocumentationTranscribe audio recordings of clinical findings, diagnostic scan interpretations (PET-CT, Gamma, MRI, CT), and therapy summaries.
- Format reports according to Molecular Diagnostics and Therapy LLP's templates and standard operating procedures.
- Ensure accuracy, grammar, and clarity in all reports while maintaining medical terminology consistency.
2. Turnaround Time (TAT) ManagementDeliver transcribed reports within prescribed turnaround times (typically same-day or T+1 basis).
- Flag any unclear or inaudible dictations for re-verification and resolution without delay.
3. Quality Assurance & ComplianceAdhere to confidentiality policies and data protection protocols as per NABH and HIPAA standards.
- Maintain 100% compliance with patient identification and reporting guidelines.
- Participate in periodic audits and feedback cycles to enhance quality and consistency.
4. Coordination & Workflow ManagementWork closely with radiologists, NM physicians, and clinical teams for report finalization.
- Coordinate with PACS/RIS teams to ensure accurate retrieval and linking of imaging data to transcription.
Experience:Minimum 1–3 years of experience in medical transcription, preferably in diagnostic or hospital settings.
Experience in nuclear medicine or radiology transcription will be an added advantage.
