About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Smart Contract Auditor to join our blockchain security team. In this role, you will be responsible for auditing smart contracts, identifying vulnerabilities, and recommending fixes to ensure the security and robustness of decentralized applications (dApps), DeFi protocols, and NFT platforms.
You will work closely with smart contract developers, protocol engineers, and project stakeholders to conduct both manual and automated code reviews, write detailed reports, and stay current with the latest in blockchain security threats and tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct manual code reviews of smart contracts written in Solidity, Vyper, Rust, or other Web3 languages.
- Use automated tools (e.g., Slither, MythX, Echidna, Foundry) to identify common vulnerabilities and edge cases.
Identify and document security vulnerabilities such as:
Reentrancy
- Integer overflows/underflows
- Front-running
- Access control flaws
Logic errors
Provide actionable remediation recommendations and fixes.
- Write clear and detailed audit reports for clients and internal teams.
- Participate in architecture reviews and threat modeling exercises.
- Collaborate with smart contract developers to improve code quality and security.
- Stay updated on the latest security exploits, tooling, and best practices in the Web3 space.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong understanding of Ethereum and EVM-based smart contracts.
- Proficient in Solidity and/or Rust smart contract development.
- Solid experience conducting security reviews or audits (either internal or third-party).
- Familiarity with smart contract vulnerabilities and attack vectors (see: SWC Registry).
Experience with audit and testing tools:
Slither, MythX, Echidna, Foundry, Manticore, Tenderly, etc.
Ability to read, analyze, and reason through complex smart contract logic.
- Strong analytical and debugging skills.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, and issue tracking systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
