About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Statistical Programmer to join a dynamic team driving innovation and data-driven decision-making across pharmaceutical sciences. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with top industry professionals and contribute to impactful projects in drug development, manufacturing, and regulatory submissions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide statistical expertise across drug substance, drug product, analytical method development, and regulatory activities for both small and large molecule entities.
  • Collaborate closely with statisticians and scientific teams to support experimental design and data analysis.
  • Independently develop and deploy statistical/computational applets using Python and R.
  • Clearly communicate statistical concepts in the context of experimental goals to cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Manage multiple projects and stakeholders concurrently with agility and precision.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 6+ years of industry experience in statistical programming or related roles.
  • PhD in Statistics or a related field, preferably with experience in a laboratory science environment.
  • Strong foundation in statistical methods, including descriptive/inferential statistics, general linear and mixed models, and design of experiments.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as R, Python, SQL, HTML, and familiarity with commercial statistical packages.
  • Experience working in Linux, cloud computing, and high-performance computing environments.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build effective working relationships.
  • Self-driven with a strong ability to learn new skills quickly.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Academic background in a scientific discipline (e.g., chemistry, biology, engineering).
  • Prior experience in pharmaceutical research and development.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Spotfire or Tableau.
  • Knowledge of statistical applications in process characterization, analytical method transfer, validation, and stability/shelf-life predictions.
  • Experience working with databases and data management systems.
