Job Description:
  • The Sr. Engineer, SW Development will be responsible for the design, development, assessment, and execution of software solutions as part of an Agile software development team. The Sr. Engineer will provide support to cross functional departments and perform troubleshooting software programs and applications.He/She will be a part of a team that will have end to end responsibility for feature development, deployment to production and enhancements/fixes on the existing product. He/She will be involved in analyzing user requirements, providing design options and coding/testing/debugging on team deliverables. Would be required to exercise independent judgment to solve challenges inherent in application development. Would require critical thinking as a software engineer and should exhibit sense of ownership and have entrepreneur mindset.
Job Description:
  • · Java Full Stack Development
  • · Unit test to provide 100% code coverage
  • · Participate in refinement meetings – refining features or defects
  • · Participate in the definition and design of new application features
  • · Provide estimates for deliverables based on complexity
  • · Participate in production deployment activities
  • · Other duties as assigned
Required skills:
  • · to 8 years of Java full stack development experience
  • · Good experience in Java, JSP, and Servlets
  • · Experience with JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3
  • · Experience working with relational databases
  • · Good problem solving, troubleshooting & debugging skills
  • · Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to work cohesively as a part of a team
  • · Experience of technically mentoring junior team members
  • · Bachelor's Degree in computer science, a related discipline, or equivalent work
Good to have skills:
  • · Experience on REST services
  • · Experience on microservices
  • · Version control software experience in GIT
  • · Knowledge on CI/CD development
  • · Knowledge on AWS
  • · Knowledge of current/emerging technologies and trends
  • · Experience working in an Agile Scrum Team
