Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage SSL/TLS certificate lifecycle: issuance, renewal, deployment, and revocation.
  • Work with certificate authorities (CAs) and internal teams to manage digital certificates securely.
  • Troubleshoot SSL/TLS-related issues including handshake errors, certificate chain validation, and cipher mismatches.
  • Assist in the configuration and maintenance of secure communication protocols across systems and applications.
  • Maintain documentation of certificate inventory, expiration alerts, and system integrations.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external security policies and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Security, DevOps, and Network Engineering.
  • Proactively identify potential security risks and implement mitigation strategies.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Must be a graduate in any discipline.
  • Strong understanding of HTTPS, TLS, PKI, certificate chains, OCSP, and CRL
  • Experience with certificate management tools (e.g., Venafi, DigiCert, Keyfactor )
  • Experience with types of SSL certificates
  • Familiarity with web servers (Apache, NGINX, IIS, Ubuntu, Azure, GoDaddy, Linux, etc.) and load balancers (F5, HAProxy ) for SSL configuration
  • Basic understanding of scripting for automation (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python)
