We are looking for

Lean Manager

at one of our locations in One Mobility Group in Asia India, (Pune Lonikand)

• Execute Lean Projects:

Lead and manage lean and continuous improvement projects at the local level, ensuring alignment with global strategies and documentation protocols.

• Financial Target Achievement:

Implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements aimed at meeting or exceeding the financial performance targets set for the plant.

• Lean Awareness and Training:

Organize and deliver training sessions to enhance staff awareness of lean principles and the global operational excellence program. Ensure that employees are actively participating in relevant training modules.

• Improvement Potential Identification:

Regularly assess manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities, documenting all findings in the project management system.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Collaborate with different teams, including operations, quality, and finance, to ensure seamless implementation of lean initiatives that align with the plant's operational goals.

• Best Practices Adoption:

Identify and adopt best practices from other manufacturing sites, and create comprehensive documentation to share these practices across other locations.

• Project Documentation:

Maintain detailed records and documentation of all local improvement initiatives within the online project management tool, ensuring transparency and global alignment.

• Data Analysis and Reporting:

Analyse key performance metrics, track the effectiveness of improvement projects, and prepare regular reports for local management and the global operational excellence team.

• Engage with (Plant) Leadership:

Work closely with the Plant Manager and global head to align lean initiatives with local strategic goals, ensuring buy-in from leadership and employees alike.

• Audit and Compliance Support:

Assist in conducting internal audits to ensure compliance with lean methodologies and global standards. Support external audits when required by the Plant Manager.

• Lead Local Lean Initiatives: Execute and manage local improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and meeting financial goals, in alignment with global operational excellence standards.
• Identify and Implement Improvement Opportunities: Continuously identify, assess, and register improvement potentials within the local manufacturing site.
• Adherence to Global Standards: Ensure that all local initiatives and processes adhere to global operational standards and best practices.
• Awareness and Training: Actively promote the global operational excellence program, raising awareness and encouraging participation in training programs.
• Knowledge Sharing: Adapt and integrate good practices from other manufacturing sites, while preparing and documenting insights to share with other locations to foster continuous improvement.
• Audit Support: Provide assistance in local audits when required by the Plant Manager.

Specialized knowledge /education:

Strong knowledge in lean management

Completed Business Administration / Industrial Engineering / or similar experienced gained through work experience

Area / Main subject:

• Minimum 5 Years of experience in Automotive Industry
• Lean / Six Sigma Greenbelt / Blackbelt (preferred), minimal 5 years of experience in lean management
• Experience in digitalization and automation
• Strong Project Management experience
• Good communication skills, eager to learn and eager to grow others
• Business fluent in English.
