JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Design Verification Engineer to join our Pre-Silicon DV team. The ideal candidate will focus on verifying a range of peripherals, ensuring robust, power-efficient, and high-quality designs through a structured verification methodology. The role offers opportunities to collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams while strengthening your technical depth in IP and SoC-level validation

Key Responsibilities:

-Perform pre-silicon RTL verification for low-speed peripherals including:

-SDIO, UART, SPI, QSPI, WDT, GPT, eUSB, and others as required.

-Create detailed verification test plans from design specifications and architecture.

-Develop testbench components, constrained-random tests, and assertions using SystemVerilog/UVM.

-Drive coverage analysis (code & functional) and ensure closure through meaningful corner case tests and use-case simulations.

-Perform regression debugging, root-cause analysis, and triage with designers.

-Contribute to power and performance test planning and execution for the above peripherals.

-Execute Gate-Level Simulations (GLS) and timing-aware simulations to ensure timing and power intent correctness.

Technical Skills:

-Strong understanding of digital design concepts, RTL design, and ASIC flow.

-Proficiency in SystemVerilog and UVM-based testbench development.

-Hands-on experience with functional coverage, assertions, and debug tools.

-Familiar with simulation tools like VCS, Questa, or Xcelium.

-Exposure to power-aware simulation, UPF, and GLS is desirable.

-Scripting skills in Python, Perl, or Shell for automation and regression management.

-Knowledge of standard protocols like AMBA (AXI/APB), I2C, or others is a plus.
