GRAPHIC DESIGNER/MARKETING ASSISTANT

SHENOY Engineering, PC [SEPC] is a US Based full-service consulting engineering firm specializing in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection building systems. We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to take ownership of our visual identity and ensure consistent, high-quality design across all marketing and business development initiatives.

In addition to primary design responsibilities, this role will also provide support with marketing and proposal preparation as needed. The ideal candidate is highly creative, organized, and motivated—capable of producing compelling visual communications while assisting the team in presenting SEPC's expertise to clients and partners.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Graphic Design (Primary Role)

• Lead the design of templates for proposals, qualifications, and other client-facing materials to ensure consistency, compliance, and visual impact.
• Create custom proposal covers, infographics, charts, and graphic illustrations that effectively communicate technical information.
• Develop and maintain templates for company letterhead, PowerPoint presentations, resumes, and other internal/external documents.
• Design marketing collateral including brochures, flyers, one-pagers, project sheets, case studies, event materials, and social media graphics.
• Maintain brand standards, templates, and graphic assets for consistent use across the firm.
• Manage and prepare files for both print and digital distribution, ensuring high quality and brand accuracy.
• Maintain an organized library of design assets, photography, and project imagery.
• Contribute design expertise to company initiatives such as website updates, digital campaigns, and internal communications.

Marketing & Proposal Support

• Assist in preparing proposals and qualifications for client submissions, including project sheets, resumes, and required forms.
• Gather and organize marketing materials that are accurate and responsive to Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
• Support the drafting of project descriptions, approaches, and correspondence.
• Help maintain marketing databases, project information, and marketing files.
• Assist with social media updates, project databases, and other marketing initiatives.
• Provide support to senior marketing staff on marketing and business development activities.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3–6 years of professional graphic design experience (A/E/C or professional services environment preferred).
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in layout design, templates, typography, and brand systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience designing for both print and digital, with knowledge of prepress, color management, and file optimization.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and consistency in all work.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Marketing, or related field—or equivalent professional experience.
