Job Description

We are looking for Team Leader – Engineering (Electrical) in our COIMBATORE, 5 STAR HOTEL. The responsibilities shouldered would be technical, commercial, and administrative in nature, including.

Designation: Team Leader – Engineering (Electrical)

Qualification: ITI / Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in EEE/ECE

Gender: Male Candidates

Experience: 2 to 6 Years of Experience

Job Location: Coimbatore

Job Type: Full Time | Permanent Job | 5 Days working in weekly

Roles and Responsibilities:

Greets all guests at all times in a friendly and helpful manner and attempts to learn and use guest's name at every opportunity.

  • Treat all associates / colleagues with dignity and respect.
  • Follow the handover and takeover procedure
  • Monitor and maintain AC temperature in the building constantly.
  • Allocate job orders to team for completion of job orders
  • Review the function sheet and organize the function requirement
  • Inspect the property from terrace to basement covering all Guest Floors as per checklist and upkeep to be maintained.
  • Follow up and coordinate works as assigned by CE/ Dy.CE/ Engineer
  • Allocation of duties in consultation with Engineer / Dy.CE / CE
  • Check the grooming and personal hygiene of shift staff.
  • All mandatory precautionary and safety measures to be maintained while working.
  • Allocate and carry out preventive maintenance as per schedule.
  • Check with plant operator for diesel level in day tanks for DG and boiler and refill it if required.
  • Check with plant operator for physical stock of diesel and record.
  • Check and change all the fused bulbs in the following areas before closing their duty
  • Take rounds and switching OFF unwanted power, Lightings and A/Cs · Close AHU's chilled water valves when not in operation
  • Switch 'OFF' music systems for guest floors corridors at prescribed time.
  • Preparation of Utility Report.
  • General check up of all check out rooms along with housekeeping and record all the defects and complete the work.
  • Changing of FCU filters once at prescribed intervals.
  • Monthly check up for any water leakage and cleaning in service shaft.
  • Cleaning of corridor lights, Chandelier lights as per schedule once in two months.
  • Attending complaints like seepage, dampness, drain water flow check up etc.
  • Annual preventive maintenance of all FCUs.
  • Maintain preventive maintenance schedule for each room. Each room should undergo preventive maintenance once every quarter.
  • Planned preventive maintenance of equipments as scheduled.
  • All the major services and over hauling of the equipments such as pumps, cooling tower, PSP, Softener, ACF, OHT, etc.
  • Handle the shift independently
  • Attend to all guest complaints .
  • Training of subordinates.
  • Coordination with contract workers for any contract work
  • Monthly report to be prepared regarding work done
  • Check fire panel and pumps are working on each 'shift basis'
  • Maintaining R.O plant
  • Maintain cooling tower parameters weekly
  • Checking of DG sets
  • Making of store & purchase indents
  • Coordinating with pest control contractors in kitchen
  • Taking round and checking kitchen equipment's and cold room readings
  • Cleaning of sumps as per schedule
  • Attend to all meeting and staff briefings as required

In addition to above duties and functions any other assignment given by the management occasionally or on a daily basis is to be performed respectively.
