Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Web Sub Editor role based in Mumbai. The Web Sub Editor will oversee the editing and management of digital content, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to journalistic ethics. Responsibilities include reviewing and refining articles, managing web content updates, maintaining quality standards, and adhering to editorial guidelines. Collaboration with writers and other team members to meet publishing deadlines is a key aspect of this role.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Web Editing and Web Content Writing
  • Strong Content Management and Writing skills
  • Excellent Communication capabilities and ability to collaborate effectively
  • Attention to detail and commitment to upholding journalistic ethics
  • Experience in the media industry, particularly in content editing or journalism, is desirable
  • Familiarity with Marathi language and culture is highly preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced on-site environment
