Software Engineering Professional

We are seeking a skilled and proactive professional to join our team, responsible for application development, application support, and contributing to the successful delivery of existing projects within our ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both frontend and backend development, with a focus on building scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions. In addition, the role requires hands-on experience with key enterprise tools and platforms, including Jira (or similar project management tools), and ServiceNow to ensure seamless development, support, and delivery processes.

•    Support the delivery of digital products and backend services using platforms and technologies like Java and Spring Boot, in collaboration with Agile teams.

•    Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, clarify objectives, and track delivery progress

•    Help manage backlogs, sprint activities, and task tracking (e.g. in Jira or similar tools)

•    Collaborate with developers and testers working on Java microservices, REST APIs, and backend integration projects

•    Support the design and testing of platform changes (e.g. in ServiceNow, Salesforce, or other enterprise systems)

•    Assist with creating and updating documentation, training materials, and stakeholder comms

•    Analyse user needs, process pain points, or performance data to recommend improvements

•    Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth flow of information, updates, and decisions across platforms and services

•    Participate in agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives

•    Help ensure quality and consistency in delivery by supporting testing, reporting bugs, and tracking resolutions

•    Should be able to work with stake holder and understand business requirement.

•    Work closely with DevOps, QA, and business analysts to gather requirements and ensure quality deliverables.

•    Participating in the design and creation of scalable software.

•    Develop reusable and scalable components using Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.

o    Around 5 years+ of experience in a digital, technology, or delivery-focused role
o    Understanding of Java, Spring Boot, and REST API concepts – preferably in an enterprise or backend environment.
o    Good experience on Nodejs and Java script
o    Familiarity with digital platforms or services (e.g. ServiceNow, Salesforce, Dynamics, etc.) – no need to code, but confident using digital tools
o    Comfortable working in agile delivery environments and using collaboration tools like Jira or Confluence
o    Strong communication skills – able to work across business and technical teams and contribute to meetings, documents, and decision-making
o    Organised, curious, and proactive – takes ownership, follows up, and spots opportunities to improve how we work
o    Analytical mindset – enjoys breaking down problems and finding practical solutions
o    Experience working in multidisciplinary teams (e.g. with engineers, analysts, testers, or product managers)
o    Experience in technical of complex project deliveries end-to-end with matrix managed structure.\
o    Familiarity with database technology such as Oracle, MySQL, Postgres and any NOSQL DB
o    Thorough understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and Agile
o    Excellent verbal communication skills
o    Good problem-solving skills
