PMD Manager

Key Responsibilities

• 1. Plan, allocate, complete, and verify daily work while ensuring root cause analysis and closure of complaints.
• 1. Maintain machines and equipment in running condition by focusing on timely PMS, correct usage, and monitoring MTBF & MTTR.
• 1. Manage critical spare parts inventory with effective forecasting and usage tracking.
• 1. Identify and eliminate non-value-added activities (NVA) and conduct energy audits to optimize resource utilization.
• 1. Ensure machines deliver defect-free parts, integrating Poka Yoke wherever applicable.
• 1. Track and update improvement projects weekly; submit completion reports to management.
• 1. Identify and fulfill training needs of team members; conduct monthly performance evaluations.
• 1. Prepare and present monthly status reports, monitoring departmental performance against annual targets and addressing gaps.
• 1. Develop and maintain an organization chart and manpower plan aligned with departmental and company goals.
• 1. Define and achieve annual and quarterly departmental goals.
• 1. Build and lead a cohesive team, ensuring adherence to company systems and procedures; provide on-the-job, offline, and mentorship training.
• 1. Coordinate with the HR/Personal department for execution of all factory-related civil works.

• Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Hands-on expertise in MTBF, MTTR, PMS, and energy management.
• Ability to lead, train, and develop teams effectively.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills for root cause analysis.
• Knowledge of regulatory and safety compliance standards.
• Strong reporting, planning, and organizational skills.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 10 years of experience in maintenance, production support, or plant engineering.
• Proven track record in managing maintenance budgets and leading cross-functional teams.
