Job Purpose
To design, develop, and support system integration solutions using Azure Data Factory (ADF), SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), and related Azure technologies. The role supports the University's IT Integration Strategy, ensuring seamless data flow between systems.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain integrations using ADF, SSIS, and Azure Logic Apps.
Contribute to the migration from SSIS to ADF-based pipelines.
Collaborate with IT teams, architects, and university departments to deliver integration solutions.
Manage and resolve integration incidents and change requests.
Produce support documentation and maintain existing integrations.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups and sprint reviews.
Contribute to continuous improvement of integration practices.
Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience with ADF, SSIS, SQL (MS/Oracle), and data transformation.
Knowledge of Web APIs (REST/SOAP), XML/JSON, and security protocols (OAuth, SSL, HTTPS).
Familiarity with Azure DevOps and Agile methodologies.
Ability to solve technical problems and deliver high-quality, supportable solutions.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Desirable
Awareness of current trends in data integration and cloud technologies.
Additional Information
Flexibility to work outside normal hours occasionally.
