Key Responsibilities:

• Database Design and Development:
• Design, develop, and maintain database schemas, tables, stored procedures, triggers, and views.
• Ensure database structures support business needs and application requirements.
• Database Administration:
• Manage and administer MS SQL Server databases, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
• Perform database backup and recovery, including disaster recovery planning and execution.
• Performance Tuning and Optimization:
• Optimize database performance through query optimization, indexing, and fine-tuning.
• Monitor and analyze database performance metrics to identify and resolve issues.
• Data Integrity and Security:
• Implement and enforce data security policies, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Maintain data integrity through regular audits, checks, and maintenance.
• Backup and Monitoring:
• Implement and manage database backup strategies, ensuring data is protected and recoverable.
• Set up and maintain monitoring tools to track database performance, capacity, and health.
• Collaboration and Support:
• Collaborate with development teams to design and implement database solutions for new applications and features.
• Provide support for database-related issues, including troubleshooting and resolving incidents.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of database configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Generate and deliver reports on database performance, utilization, and other key metrics.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in database development and administration, specifically with MS SQL Server.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong proficiency in SQL, including writing and optimizing complex queries.
• Hands-on experience with stored procedures, triggers, views, and database table design.
• Knowledge of database backup, recovery, and monitoring tools.
• Performance Tuning: Proven experience in optimizing and fine-tuning SQL queries and database performance.
• Security and Compliance: Understanding of data security best practices and regulatory requirements in the banking industry.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications in database management or MS SQL Server are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the banking or financial services industry.
• Familiarity with other database systems and technologies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25, ₹40,000.00 per month
