About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Cloud Security Engineer proficient in GCP, AWS, and Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure cloud infrastructures, ensuring compliance, and safeguarding applications, workloads, and data across multi-cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Cloud Security Architecture & Implementation

  • Design, implement, and manage security controls across AWS, GCP, and Azure environments.
  • Oversee secure deployment of cloud-native services, VMs, containers, and serverless functions.
  • Develop and enforce cloud security baselines, hardening standards, and best practices.

Identity & Access Management

  • Configure and manage IAM policies, roles, service accounts, secrets, and key management.
  • Implement Zero-Trust models across multi-cloud environments.

Network & Infrastructure Security

  • Configure secure VPC networks, firewalls, WAFs, VPNs, security groups, and routing.
  • Support segmentation, encryption, perimeter security, and DDoS mitigation.

Threat Detection & Incident Response

  • Deploy and manage cloud security tools such as AWS Security Hub, GuardDuty, GCP Security Command Center, Azure Defender, Sentinel, etc.
  • Monitor logs, detect anomalies, and respond to cloud-related security incidents.

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure adherence to industry standards including ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, GDPR, and CIS Benchmarks.
  • Automate policy enforcement with tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and Azure Policy.

DevSecOps & Automation

  • Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
  • Automate vulnerability scanning, patching, and configuration compliance.

Risk Assessment & Auditing

  • Conduct regular cloud security assessments, penetration tests, and risk analysis.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation, runbooks, and cloud security reports.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in cloud security engineering.
  • Strong expertise in AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform security tools, services, and governance.
  • Proficiency in Terraform, CloudFormation, or other IaC tools.
  • Solid understanding of network security, encryption, IAM, SIEM, container security, and endpoint protection.
  • Experience with Kubernetes security (GKE, AKS, EKS) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of OWASP, CIS Benchmarks, and cloud compliance frameworks.
  • Certifications preferred:
  • AWS Security Specialty
  • Azure Security Engineer (AZ-500)
  • Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer
  • CISSP, CISM (added advantage)
