Role & responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud-based solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in GCP services, cloud architecture principles, and DevOps practices. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and design scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions using GCP services (e.g., Compute Engine, Cloud Functions, Kubernetes Engine).
  • Lead cloud strategy and roadmap development aligned with business goals.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Google Deployment Manager.
  • Ensure security compliance through best practices in IAM, data encryption, and network security.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate cloud solutions into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Monitor and optimize cloud performance using tools like Stackdriver Monitoring and Logging.
  • Conduct audits and performance tuning to maintain high availability and reliability.
  • Stay current with GCP updates and emerging cloud technologies to drive innovation.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with a focus on GCP.
  • Strong understanding of cloud-native design patterns and microservices architecture.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Go, Bash).
  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification.
  • Experience with multi-cloud environments.

Background in enterprise-level cloud migration projects.
