Job Overview

The Learning & Development team is responsible for the creation, development, and execution of all learning solutions within TE Connectivity. They support all Segments and BUs within TE Connectivity India, partnering with HR solution Partners and Business leaders to provide learning solutions to new and existing employees. They develop process, behavioral-soft skills and Leadership training. They also create and facilitate learning journeys for new and existing processes, based on business needs and growth projections. We are looking out for a Strategic L&D leader driving impactful, innovative learning across India. Passionate about capability building, stakeholder alignment, and empowering diverse talent through agile, inclusive development solutions.

In this position, you will contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the organization's leadership, functional, and technical capabilities. This mission ensures that TE Connectivity is well-equipped to execute its current strategies and is future-ready to meet its evolving goals and objectives.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-depth critical needs analysis to identify and prioritize key learning and development requirements within the organization.
  • Develop a robust framework and comprehensive program designs Technical, behavioral and Leadership that serve as the backbone for effective learning and development initiatives.
  • Implement a dynamic blend of digital and virtual Learning and Development interventions that cater to the evolving needs of our workforce.
  • Ensure that our employees have access to the essential interpersonal skills development opportunities required to deliver exceptional customer experience.
  • Collaborate closely with HR Solution Partners across Segments/BUs and Business leaders to conceptualize and deliver enablement programs that align with our business objectives. Identify learning needs at both the employee and business levels and create innovative solutions to address them.
  • Act as a dedicated Learning and Development ambassador, effectively communicating L&D initiatives across the organization, ensuring they are well-known, understood and embraced. Develop and implement tools and frameworks to assess the effectiveness of various internal and external learning interventions.
  • Coordinate and oversee a wide range of events and activities, which may involve facilitating workshops, learning events, webinars and external training programs across all areas of learning and development.
  • Stay at the forefront of the industry by keeping abreast of the latest trends and best practices in learning design, learning technology and the broader field of professional development.
  • Proactively analyze and translate data into recommendations for new/revised learning content and curriculums and then execute the creation of said content.
  • Evaluate and maintain current learning solutions delivery methods and make recommendations to improve learning experience as well as outcome.
  • Ensure at a regular cadence that all learning content is updated real-time as systems, best practices, and business processes evolve over time.
  • Lead in the content development for various learning journey types, including but not limited to new hire training, technical & process training, behavioral training, leadership, AI and soft skill training.
  • Partner with L&D Manager, GTM and Delivery teams to identify critical learning content needs or gaps that are essential to drive growth.
  • Seek to identify, repurpose and leverage existing learning content within the greater organization that is applicable to the BU and create supplemental content that is BU-specific.
  • Develop learning schedules and plans for learning initiatives.
  • Update SOPs and proactively review/update learning materials and document changes to processes, systems or policies.
  • Develop structured assessments to evaluate readiness, capabilities, and skills progression.
  • Create feedback loops through post-learning evaluations, peer reviews, and performance analysis.
  • Track and report on key enablement metrics, including onboarding completion, time-to-productivity, engagement levels, and learning outcomes.
