Role & responsibilities

Data Security & Governance

  • Possess a good understanding of data classification models (PII, PHI, Financial Data etc)
  • Understanding of data access governance
  • Familiarity with Authentication/Authorization and Least Privilege Principle
  • Good to have knowledge on compliance frameworks (SOX, ISO, HIPAA etc)
  • Defining , Documenting , Enforcing & Managing access policies

Snowflake and Databricks Expertise

  • Proficiency in Snowflake, solid understanding of Role Hierarchies, Permissions, Data Sharing
  • Hands on with SQL, Stored Procedures
  • Experience in Databricks Lakehouse, Unity Catalog and Access Control

Platform Skills

  • Building dashboards for monitoring, data exposure and threats
  • Solid understanding of out of box features, customization techniques of any tool

Alerting & Monitoring

  • Interpreting dashboards,
  • Derive insights from behavior analytics to detect anomalies
  • Scripting knowledge for automation (enforcing policies)
  • DSPM tool like VARONIS will be an added advantage.
