Roles & Responsibilities

Technical Drawings & Drafting

• Create and develop precise
  CAD drawings, technical layouts, and detailed blueprints
  based on architectural and design specifications.
• Ensure accuracy in measurements, calculations, and design elements while adhering to
  building codes and industry standards.
• Prepare
  detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings
  for furniture, interior layouts, and custom design elements.
• Work closely with
  architects, interior designers, and project managers
  to translate concepts into technical documentation.

BOQ & Material Detailing

• Assist in preparing
  Bill of Quantities (BOQ)
  by detailing measurements and material specifications for procurement.
• Identify material requirements, ensuring selections align with design intent and feasibility.

Site Coordination & Execution Support

• Collaborate with
  contractors, vendors, and on-site teams
  to ensure designs are implemented accurately.
• Conduct
  site visits
  to verify measurements, assess design feasibility, and address execution challenges.
• Modify drawings based on site conditions, client feedback, and practical requirements.

Quality Control & Compliance

• Ensure all drawings comply with
  building regulations, fire safety norms, and project-specific standards.
• Maintain
  drawing records, revision logs, and proper documentation
  for project reference.
• Troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies between design intent and on-site execution.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency in AutoCAD
  (mandatory), SketchUp, and other design software.
• Strong technical understanding
  of interior layouts, furniture detailing, joinery, and materials.
• Excellent visualization skills
  to interpret design intent and convert it into technical drawings.
• Meticulous attention to detail
  with the ability to work under deadlines.
• Ability to collaborate
  effectively with architects, designers, and contractors.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education:
  Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related fields.
• Experience:
  4+ years in
  interior drafting
  , with expertise in AutoCAD and site coordination.
