Overview

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Accounts Executive Trainee to manage day-to-day accounting activities for our construction projects. The Accounts Executive Trainee will support the finance and accounts team in maintaining accurate financial records for construction projects. The role focuses on learning construction-specific accounting practices such as project costing, vendor billing, statutory compliance, and site-level financial coordination under the guidance of senior accounts staff.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in recording daily accounting transactions in Tally/ERP.
  • Support preparation and verification of purchase bills, subcontractor bills, and expense vouchers.
  • Help maintain site-wise and project-wise cost records.
  • Assist in bank entries, cash book maintenance, and basic bank reconciliation.
  • Support GST compliance work such as data collection for GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and purchase reconciliation.
  • Coordinate with site engineers and vendors for invoice and payment details.
  • Maintain proper filing of bills, vouchers, contracts, and statutory documents.
  • Assist senior accountants during audits and internal reviews.
  • Ensure adherence to company accounting policies and basic statutory requirements.
  • Learn and follow construction industry accounting standards and practices.
