Following are the Brief points of the Job requirements

• Design, develop, and maintain robust relational databases using Microsoft SQL Server (Structured Query Language Server), ensuring data integrity and optimal performance for business applications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, analysts, and data engineers to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and deliver scalable SQL-based (Structured Query Language-based) solutions.
• Write and optimize complex T-SQL (Transact-SQL) queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers to support application and reporting requirements.
• Perform performance tuning, query optimization, and database profiling to ensure high-availability and responsiveness.
• Implement database security protocols, including access control, encryption, and compliance with data protection regulations.
• Provide troubleshooting and support for existing SQL Server databases and data-driven applications, conducting root cause analysis and resolution.
• Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and solution reviews.
• Document database designs, data flows, and technical specifications for ongoing reference and compliance needs.
• Stay updated with the latest SQL Server features, security practices, and cloud database trends such as Azure SQL Database (Microsoft's cloud-based SQL Server) or AWS RDS (Amazon Web Services Relational Database Service).

Following are the minimum mandatory skills requirements

• Strong development experience with MS SQL Server 2017
• Above, including database design, implementation, and maintenance.
• Advanced expertise in writing and tuning T-SQL (Transact-SQL) queries, complex joins, CTEs (Common Table Expressions), window functions, and dynamic SQL (Structured Query Language).
• Capable of performance tuning: query optimization, indexing, partitioning, and execution plan analysis.
• Proficient in analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving database-related issues efficiently.
• Familiarity with database security measures, data encryption, and user access management.
• Good knowledge of backups, recovery models, and database migration techniques.

Following are the minimum mandatory skills requirements

• Ability to work with source control systems such as Git in a collaborative team environment.

• Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies and participation in cross-functional teams.

  
  
• Involvement in documenting, testing, and deploying database solutions across environments.
• Familiarity with cloud database architectures such as Azure SQL Database or AWS RDS (cloud relational database from Amazon).

Following are the minimum mandatory skills requirements

• Experience with big data integration such as Hadoop or Spark and non-relational (NoSQL) databases.
• Develop, schedule, and monitor ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) or equivalent tools for data integration across multiple sources.
• Exposure to DevOps (Development and Operations) practices, CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) pipelines, and database automation tools.
• Knowledge of Power BI (Business Intelligence reporting tool from Microsoft) or other business intelligence/reporting tools built on SQL data.
• Awareness of advanced analytics, machine learning integration, or AI-powered data processing in SQL environments.
• Experience with regulatory compliance such as GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) or HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) in financial or healthcare data environments.
