Your Opportunity 

We are seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer – Full Stack to lead and contribute to the design and development of Movius' next-generation secure communication platform. 

You will play a hands-on engineering role, working across mobile (Android/iOS), desktop, and web-integrated applications, along with backend microservices deployed in cloud 

This role demands deep technical expertise, architectural vision, and coding excellence in a fast-paced SaaS environment supporting mission-critical telecom-grade systems. 

What You'll Do 

Design, develop, and maintain scalable front-end and back-end components across mobile, desktop, and web-based applications.   

Engineer and extend secure communication features integrated into enterprise systems such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Salesforce.   

Build and optimize Ruby on Rails and Go-based services ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability.   

Work with telecom APIs, SMS gateways, and encrypted messaging protocols (SMS, WhatsApp, WeChat, etc.) for unified communication flows.   

Ensure all communication services meet stringent compliance and audit logging requirements for financial sector clients.   

Collaborate with DevOps to optimize service deployment and monitoring on AWS and IBM bare-metal infrastructure.   

Mentor engineers, conduct design and code reviews, drive adoption of best practices (CI/CD, testing, observability).   

Partner with Product Management, QA, and Customer Success to translate requirements into high-quality deliverables.   

Contribute to architectural roadmap, evaluate new technologies, and influence long-term technical direction of the Movius platform.   

What you Bring 

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent field.   

10+ years of software development experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or staff engineering capacity.   

Strong proficiency in Ruby on Rails, GoLang, and JavaScript/TypeScript (React/React Native preferred).   

Deep understanding of Android (Kotlin/Java) and iOS (Swift) app architecture and secure communication design patterns.   

Experience with Electron or similar frameworks for cross-platform desktop development.   

Proficiency in AWS services (EC2, ECS, Lambda, RDS, S3) and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes).   

Knowledge of TLS, OAuth2, SSO, encryption, and data privacy frameworks applicable to communication services.   

Understanding of SIP, VoIP, SMS, carrier integration, or related telecom protocols is a strong plus.   

Proven ability to design distributed systems handling high availability and data integrity across global deployments.   

Preferred Skills 

Experience working in regulated industries (finance, healthcare, or telecom).   

Familiarity with message auditing, call recording, and compliance archiving systems.   

Exposure to AI/ML-based communication analytics or NLP for message monitoring.   

Excellent problem-solving skills, communication, and a "lead by example" attitude.
