About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Azure Developer to join our technology team in Pune. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Java Developer with hands-on expertise in Azure Cloud services, capable of designing, developing, and deploying scalable enterprise applications on the cloud.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement robust, scalable, and secure applications using Java and Azure.
  • Build and deploy microservices and RESTful APIs using Spring Boot or similar frameworks.
  • Leverage Azure services such as App Services, Functions, Storage, Service Bus, Event Hub, and Key Vault.
  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
  • Collaborate with architects, DevOps engineers, and other developers to design cloud-native solutions.
  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance performance of existing applications.
  • Follow best practices for coding, testing, and deployment to ensure reliability and scalability.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 8 + years of professional experience in Java development.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices architecture.
  • Proven experience working with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
  • Good understanding of cloud security, monitoring, and scaling strategies.
  • Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL).
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in agile environments.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka, Event Hub, Service Bus).
  • Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) using ARM templates or Terraform.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps culture.
