Department: Procurement & Supply Chain

Reporting To: AGM - Supply Chain Management

Roles & responsibilities:

  • Manage endtoend procurement and ensuring timely availability of materials for production.
  • Develop and maintain strategic vendor relationships to secure quality, costeffective, and timely supplies.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms to achieve cost savings without compromising quality.
  • Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels in coordination with production and stores teams.
  • Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, materials, and costreduction opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with OEM standards, industry regulations, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams for new product development and sourcing of prototype materials.
  • Maintain accurate purchase records, supplier performance data, and procurement reports for audits and reviews.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in procurement processes to support operational excellence.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Mechanical/Production Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience: 7 to 12 years in procurement/purchase, preferably in Tier 1 automotive component manufacturing.
  • Proven expertise in vendor development, cost analysis, and contract negotiation.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems like SAP and procurement documentation.
  • Strong understanding of IATF 16949 / ISO standards and OEM quality requirements.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
