Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Fashion Designer located in Chennai. Responsibilities include designing original fashion pieces, working with fabrics

, creating and implementing embroidery designs, and ensuring proper garment fitting. The Fashion Designer will collaborate with teams to conceptualize and bring unique styles to life, keeping up with current fashion trends and customer preferences. The role requires creativity, attention to detail, and a strong ability to work on-site with a dynamic team.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Fashion Design and a solid understanding of current fashion trends
  • Strong knowledge of Textiles and expertise in applying Embroidery design techniques
  • Skills in garment Fitting and precision to ensure high-quality products
  • Detail-oriented with a creative mindset and the ability to innovate
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills, with a proactive and collaborative approach
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Fashion Design or a related field
  • Minimum 1 year professional experience in the women's fashion/ethnic wear industry is a must.
