Job Title: Indian Chef – Fine Dining

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Indian Chef to lead the preparation of exquisite Indian cuisine in a fine dining setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of both traditional and contemporary Indian culinary techniques, exceptional creativity, and a passion for delivering refined and memorable dining experiences. This role requires culinary innovation, precision, and attention to every detail in taste, presentation, and service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present authentic, high-end Indian dishes with regional and modern influences.
- Maintain exceptional standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation consistent with fine dining expectations.
- Design and update seasonal and à la carte menus that align with the restaurant's vision and guest preferences.
- Source and utilize premium ingredients while preserving authenticity and depth of flavor.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef and F&B team on menu design, food tastings, and new dish development.
- Train and guide kitchen staff on advanced culinary techniques, plating aesthetics, and hygiene best practices.
- Monitor inventory, manage food costs, and implement waste control procedures efficiently.
- Ensure full compliance with food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations.
- Participate in guest interactions when appropriate to provide insights into the cuisine and enhance the dining experience.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 0-5years of experience as an Indian Chef in a fine dining restaurant or luxury hotel environment.
- Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts or equivalent professional training in Indian cuisine.
- Proven success in developing creative menus, managing kitchen operations, and leading culinary teams.
- In-depth knowledge of regional Indian cuisines (e.g., Awadhi, Mughlai, North Indian, Coastal, etc.).
- Expertise in modern presentation and fusion cooking styles.
- Strong understanding of kitchen hygiene, food safety protocols, and inventory control.
Key Skills:
- Culinary innovation and plating artistry
- Mastery of Indian spices and traditional cooking techniques
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- High commitment to quality and guest satisfaction
Preferred:
- International exposure or experience with luxury hospitality brands
- Familiarity with wine and food pairing for Indian cuisine
- Ability to communicate with guests to explain dish concepts and ingredients
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹10, ₹22,000.00 per month
