ROLE SPECIFICATIONS:

Position :- Senior Research Analyst

Department :- Credit Research

Location :- Mumbai

Reporting :- Head of Credit Research

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Client management:

  • Conduct accurate scoping of research assignments/projects Meet & surpass the client expectations.
  • Seek regular client feedback from stakeholders.
  • Incorporate the feedback & close the loop.
  • Effective escalation management.
  • Delivery-cum-relationship management

Delivery management:

  • Meet & surpass the delivery client &/or ValueAdd benchmarks in terms of quality & timelines.
  • Successfully independently deliver a variety of research assignments including credit modelling across global IG, HY, Lev loans and distressed debt, initiation coverage notes, investment idea generation, industry research, research coverage maintenance, news & impact analysis, and bond and covenants analysis.
  • Discuss investment ideas on client calls as well.
  • Deliver and achieve 100% client satisfaction

Marketing, business development, organization development support

  • Support on business proposals, Scope of Work documents, collaterals, and samples.
  • Effectively contribute on calls with clients and prospects as a Domain Expert.
  • Contribute towards marketing & thought leadership content.
  • Execute/participate in other organizational development initiatives

Educational, experience, and skills requirements:

  • Postgraduate/CFA/CA/MBA Finance & equivalent.
  • 5-8 years experience in credit research with global banks, rating agencies, wealth management

firms, sell-side/buy-side firms, and KPOs.

  • Sound financial/cash flow modelling skills, good analytical writing skills, idea generation capability, and specialization in multiple industries is desirable.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Analytical, detail oriented, self-motivated, Proven client management experience.
  • Hands-on experience on 3rd party databases is mandatory

Other skills requirements:

  • Proven leadership, team management & client management experience.
  • Strong team player, Strong professional ethics and business etiquette
  • Preferably, onshore experience is preferred.
